Rick Shaw is founder and President of Awareity. Rick has over 25 years experience with risk mitigation and risk management including people, processes and technology methodologies. Rick has worked in many roles as an employee, manager, network architect, communications specialist, disaster recovery manager, vulnerability assessment specialist and sales professional. Rick has worked with large and small companies including EDS, MCI, IPI and FirsTier before founding Awareity.

Rick founded Awareity to provide innovative and visionary solutions that allow organizations to address people-based risk mitigation and management as well as to improve situational awareness and accountability at the individual level. Today Awareity is helping organizations with reducing costs, reducing risks, reducing liabilities, improving audits, more effectively utilizing limited resources and improving emergency preparedness across organizations of all sizes.
