About This Conference

GIS provides a common analytical framework in which public health authorities can understand problems and formulate a response, improving incident management and health planning.

Most health and human service problems facing the world today exist in a geographic context and your analysis should consider that. Understanding issues ranging from medical epidemiology to healthcare access requires a comprehensive understanding of their geography.

This offering of the GIS in Homeland Security Conference (one in a series of GIS events) will focus on how spatial technology is becoming a vital tool for scientists and public health officials investigating the cause and spread of deadly diseases around the world.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  You may designate a substitute in writing any time before the conference. If you need to cancel your registration, you must send your notice in writing and will be subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds are given for cancellations received 3 business days prior to the event start date or later.
