About this Workshop:
This workshop will focus on how to use intelligence to prevent an act of terrorism
and violent crime. The Intelligence Analyst Training Workshop will assist public
safety agencies, fusion centers and analysts in analyzing raw data to produce actionable
intelligence. This training involves learning who the enemy is and how to
use intelligence to prevent terrorist/criminal acts from occurring by using operational
principles based on best practices. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding
of how terrorist attacks and criminal activity have been carried out in the past
and how utilizing intelligence cycles and technologies can mitigate the possibility
of a terrorist attack or criminal activity. This course will utilize lectures, case
studies, videos, practical exercises, and problem solving exercises to foster a
heightened ability to analyze intelligence.

or fax) and will be subject to a $100 processing fee. No cancellations or transfers

Workshop Location:
The workshop will be held in the Homeland Defense Training & Publishing (A Division
of Government Horizons Global Inc.) Training Center in the Jefferson Plaza Building
at 1421 Jefferson Davis Highway (7th floor), Arlington, VA 22202. Public parking
at the facility is available for $10.00 early morning special (before 8:00am) or
$18.00 all day. The Jefferson Plaza Building is just two blocks from the Crystal
City Metro Station on the blue and yellow line. Please note: the parking garage
is located on Crystal Drive.
